About Lindsey
and
Lindsey Ludvik Photography:
I was born and raised in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
I was the girl in high school that always had a camera in my hand. When it came time to decide what I wanted to do after graduation, I had no idea until one day it just hit me. Photography!
After graduating high school, I attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa. I graduated in 2004 with an Associate of Applied Arts Degree in Professional Photography. (I majored in portrait photography.)
After graduation I moved back to the area and married my husband, Josh, in 2005. Right after our wedding we bought a house and in August of 2006, Lindsey Ludvik Photography became an official business. My studio is operated out of our home in Bagley and I am open by appointment only.
We had our first son Owen in 2007. (The day after my 24th birthday.) Aaren was born in 2008 to complete our family and we couldn't be happier to have two boys. I love being a Boy Mom!
In June of 2009 I was accepted to be a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, which is a non-profit organization that offers remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby. For more information, please visit http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/home/
In April of 2010 I became an Area Coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
In January of 2010 I was accepted to be a member of the South Central Photographers Association, which is an organization of photographers, for photographers in the Central Wisconsin Area.
In 2010, I won Portrait Image of the Year at South Central with my image titled, "Am I In Trouble?" Pretty exciting for my first year with South Central.
When I'm not busy working, I love spending time with my family. We love to go camping, go to sporting events...although we are a divided house...3 of us love the Packers and 1 of us loves the Panthers. Ha. I love date nights with my husband, chocolate and traveling. Our boys are getting older and they are both very active, so they keep us busy. I wouldn't have it any other way though!
